Renton Wilderness Twilight Camp is a volunteer-led camp, and therefore we are always looking for more wonderful adults to volunteer to help make camp a reality.
Why should I volunteer at Renton Wilderness Twilight Camp?
- By volunteering you are making it possible for many kids to experience camp, some for the first time!
- Volunteers receive 50% off ($90) camp tuition for one camper or PA!*
- Volunteers get to spend the week at an AMAZING camp and get to be a part of making it a magical experience for the youth! It’s a really fun and rewarding experience.
Roles:
Unit Leaders—adults that work with our teenage Program Aides (P.A.s) and P.A.s in Training (P.A.inT.s) to provide programming and a safe environment for our campers. (Sample daily schedule shown below). This role is our highest need.
Support Roles—including but not limited to Nurse, Photographer, Kitchen Lead, Archery Range Master and more.
Core Team—Are you interested in help plan camp? We welcome people to join or shadow our year round Core Team. We meet once to twice a month 10 months a year to plan camp. There is training offered by GSWW.
Mini Roles**—Can't be at camp for full days or all four days but would still like to help? We appreciate people who are able to fill in as needed or can be on call for support. Maybe you can only help at camp for one day or you can only come help after work at 5pm. We may have a need that would be the right fit. On call might be to bring supplies by that we need while camp is going on.
Do you have other skills that you’d like to share? We’d love to hear them! Please feel free to reach out.
